This year’s Gala will feature spectacular performances by our special guest artists, Thomas Zinger and Sarah Stolarsky—two-time World Champions in Ballroom and Latin Dance. Renowned for their exceptional talent, artistry, and captivating stage presence, they will present a world-class performance that promises to be one of the highlights of the evening.
Guests will enjoy an elegant banquet, outstanding live entertainment, and the opportunity to celebrate with friends, supporters, and members of the community while supporting the charitable mission of the Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club.
The Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club is proud to support KITE Collective’s new original musical, Mirror of Eternity, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Toronto Forest Hill. This special event brings together the arts and community service while raising funds for two meaningful charitable organizations.
The performance will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Fairview Theatre.
Mirror of Eternity is an inspiring musical that explores the themes of love, destiny, and the choices we make in life. The musical also features a special voice performance by Castro Liu, adding another highlight to this remarkable production.
Beyond celebrating the performing arts, this event supports an important charitable cause. Proceeds from the performance will benefit the CICS Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Canada.

Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club Hosts the 15th Annual Charity Table Tennis Tournament – August events to Raise $50,000 for Community Causes
The Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club is proud to announce the 15th Annual Charity Table Tennis Tournament, taking place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Markham Wesley Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Opening Ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. This year’s tournament will support three important community beneficiaries:
Mackenzie Health Foundation
Ronald McDonald House Charities Family Room at Markham Stouffville Hospital
Markham Wesley Centre CYH Hub for children and families in the community
Now entering its 15th year, the tournament has become the largest charity table tennis tournament in Ontario bringing together more than 250 players with 56 teams competing across 10 categories. The event promotes sportsmanship, inclusion, friendship, and community engagement.
