Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club Hosts the 15th Annual Charity Table Tennis Tournament – August events to Raise $50,000 for Community Causes
The Canada-HK New Horizon Lions Club is proud to announce the 15th Annual Charity Table Tennis Tournament, taking place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Markham Wesley Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Opening Ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. This year’s tournament will support three important community beneficiaries:
- Mackenzie Health Foundation
- Ronald McDonald House Charities Family Room at Markham Stouffville Hospital
- Markham Wesley Centre CYH Hub for children and families in the community
Now entering its 15th year, the tournament has become the largest charity table tennis tournament in Ontario bringing together more than 250 players with 56 teams competing across 10 categories. The event promotes sportsmanship, inclusion, friendship, and community engagement.

August 15, 2026 – “Mirror of Eternity” Musical Drama
Co-patron with the Rotary Club of Toronto-Forest Hill, we will support KITE Collective’s new musical drama, Mirror of Eternity, at Fairview Theatre. Proceeds will benefit the CICS Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
August 30, 2026 – Horizon Gala
The annual Horizon Gala will be held at Peter and Paul Banquet Hall, featuring special guest performers Thomas Zinger and Sarah Stolarsky, two-time World Champions in Ballroom and Latin Dance.

加港新里程獅子會舉辦第15屆慈善乒乓球錦標賽 – 三大八月慈善活動攜手籌募五萬元支援社區公益
加港新里程獅子會欣然宣布，第15屆慈善乒乓球錦標賽將於2026年8月9日（星期日）上午9時至晚上8時，萬民衛斯理中心.（Markham Wesley Centre）舉行，並於下午1時舉行開幕典禮。本年度賽事將支持以下三個重要社區受惠機構：
- 麥健時醫院基金會（Mackenzie Health Foundation）
- 麥當勞叔叔之家於萬錦多福醫院的病童家庭休息室
- 萬民衛斯理中心
踏入第15周年，這球赛已成为安省規模最大的慈善乒乓球錦標賽，吸引超過250位球員參與，合共56支隊伍競逐10個組別獎項。活動致力推廣體育精神、共融、友誼及社區參與。

演。活動收益將撥捐華咨處基金會及麥當勞叔叔之家 。
年度 Horizon 慈善晚宴將於 Peter and Paul Banquet Hall 舉行，特邀兩屆世界標準舞及拉丁舞冠軍表演嘉賓
